    The goal of the Leuthardt Lab is to understand brain computer interface (BCI) devices and their implications regarding patient care. Advances in innovative neurotechnology products will soon profoundly change the way we live, work and play.

    Dr. Leuthardt's research focuses on brain computer interfaces and brain mapping – using engineering approaches to decode the brain to create novel diagnostics and treatments for diseases ranging from brain tumors, stroke, chronic pain and spinal cord injury.
